Terms & Conditions

Please find our terms and conditions below. If you have any questions about the following please contact Georgina Davey, Development Manager, on 020 7703 6120.

Fans
A Couple of Fans must be two people who live at the same address.

Concessions are available for students, over 60s, unwaged and disabled visitors. Proof or ID for each concession will need to be shown upon collection of the Membership.

For Gift Aid, your entire payment represents a donation without encumbrance for the general purposes of the SLG. However, different regulations apply for VAT and by joining as a Fan, VAT is included within your payment to the SLG.

Seasonal Winter discount in the bookshop - For a limited period Fans are offered a 10% discount off products from the SLG bookshop by SLG Trading Limited, the discount will end midnight (GMT) on 29 February 2016, and may be withdrawn at any time. The offer applies to in-store purchases only and not online sales. The seasonal discount cannot be used in addition to the existing 10% Fan discount on editions, or any other shop discount and does not apply to Editions over £1,000.

Patrons and Benefactors

Contributions made by Patrons and Benefactors combine a voluntary donation and a payment for the benefits that the South London Gallery offers to its supporters.

By joining as a Patron, your contribution is split between a minimum payment for the benefits of £64 inclusive of VAT, and a requested voluntary donation of £736 annually if made by direct debit (paid annually or monthly) or £936 using other payment methods.

By joining as a Benefactor, your contribution is split between a minimum payment for the benefits of £128 inclusive of VAT, and a requested voluntary donation of £1,872 annually (or £167 monthly).

Benefits can be purchased at the minimum price, and any amounts given over and above this minimum price are given freely as a donation. As a result, for Gift Aid, the amount of your payment which represents a donation without encumbrance for the general purposes of the South London Gallery will be the amount of your total payment, less the £67 (Patron) or £128 (Benefactor) paid for the benefits. Thus on the requested voluntary donation amount of £736 (Patron, direct debit), £936 (Patron, other payment options) or £1,872 (Benefactor), the Gift Aid donation element will respectively comprise £736, £936 or £1,872.

Please contact Georgina Davey on 020 7703 6120 if you would like discuss the option of paying for benefits only.

Council

By joining the Council, your contribution is split between a minimum payment (inclusive of VAT) for the benefits, and a requested voluntary donation. Benefits can be purchased at the minimum price, and any amounts given over and above this minimum price are given freely as a donation. As a result, for Gift Aid, the amount of your payment which represents a donation without encumbrance for the general purposes of the South London Gallery will be the amount of your total payment, less the amount for the benefits. Thus on the requested voluntary donation amount, only that amount shall be eligible for Gift Aid, not the minimum payment amount.
