Join us for the launch of The Place Is Here: The Work of Black Artists in 1980s Britain, a new book edited by Nick Aikens and Elizabeth Robles.
The publication reflects and expands upon the exhibition series The Place Is Here (2016-17), the final iteration of which was held at the South London Gallery in 2017.
The evening includes readings from Michelle Williams Gamaker (chair), Nick Aikens, Gail Lewis and Ingrid Pollard.
