Artist Satch Hoyt makes sculptures, paintings and installations accompanied by sound. Join us for a unique Sonic Lecture event with Hoyt, composed of music, digital sounds, poetry and readings from his recent book.
The lecture will be followed by a live performance.
Hoyt’s practice is currently focused on his Afro-Sonic Mapping theory which maps out historical and fantastical Afro-futuristic, Black Atlantic journeys – from Slave Ship to Space Ship.
