For a temporary period the South London Gallery (SLG) will house the Sound Factory. Artists will lead practical workshops exploring the idea of sound as a raw material. The production of sound will encourage visitors to experience a continually evolving sound event. Visitors can also interact through a variety of workshops. All sound produced, manipulated, collected, sampled etc. in these workshops will be edited and arranged into a final work for the production of a compact disc.
