In summer 2016 the Art Assassins worked with artist Andrea Franke to discuss Andean Philosophy and social practice. Together they recorded a podcast with artist Tania Bruguera, which will form part of Franke’s PhD.
During these meetings the Art Assassins reworked their manifesto, defining themselves as “a diverse group of young beings aged between 14-21 years old who meet every Tuesday at the South London Gallery.”
In 2017 excerpts from the podcast were published in Issue 19 of STRIKE! Magazine.
Andrea Francke, born in Peru and now based in London, is an artist and PhD candidate in Latin American Studies at the University of Manchester.
Born in Havana in 1968, artist Tania Bruguera choreographs performances that question the possibility of political representation.
