Tom Phillips’ Irma is an exquisite miniature opera exploring the search for unobtainable beauty through video projection, virtuoso piano quartet and vocalists. Inspired by Phillips’ most famous artwork A Humument, Irma’s first multimedia performance is set within the SLG’s main gallery where Phillips first showed his work as a student. Irma will be shown as an audio visual installation during the day followed by bookable evening performances. Directed and designed by Netia Jones, music by Anton Lukoszevieze, video by Lightmap and performed by Apartment House.
