Young people activate South London Gallery’s exhibitions, events and spaces. We work with young people to create an exciting organise public programme, to that engages with artists and their work and to think about rethinks the ways in which that contemporary art can be inspiring, relevant and fun.
ART ASSASSINS
The SLG’s youth collective, the Art Assassins, have stayed overnight in a forest, taken over the our gallery spaces, curated their own exhibitions, investigated local history and culture and made their own artworks. They’ve collaborated with artists, filmmakers, music festivals, radio stations, art galleries, musicians and more!
Art Assassins is open to anyone aged 16-21 who lives, works or studies in south London.
The Young People’s Programme is supported by the Clore Duffield Foundation and the SLG Council.
SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES
