In June the Art Assassins hosted a night of .gifs, sound and sculpture with live music from the 22art Ensemble.
Art Assassins are a group of young beings aged between 14-21 years old who meet every Tuesday at the South London Gallery. To find out more about the Art Assassins click here.
The 22art Ensemble features members of the 22a Music label. 22a Music has been releasing music since 2013.
Alicia Reyes McNamara was the Graduate Resident at South London Gallery in 2017 and recently received her MFA from the University of Oxford’s Ruskin School of Art, after completing her BFA at California College of the Arts. Her work was included in the Bloomberg New Contemporaries exhibition at the Bluecoat and ICA in 2016.
The South London Gallery’s young people’s programme is supported by the SLG Council, the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
