In spring 2019, artist duo KALEIDOWORKS led their third project on Elmington Estate entitled Films For The Future.
Films For The Future is a playful and child friendly introduction to archiving, providing a chance for local children to reflect on their thoughts and feelings about their environment, neighbourhood and personal futures. Taking the form of experimental documentary filmmaking, over six weeks in March and April 2019, children explored green-screening, sound and film recording, as well as editing in their very own post production tent on the playground.
Films For The Future was exhibited alongside two other films made by Kaleidoworks on Elmington Estate in 2016 and 2017 at the SLG Fire Station 31 May – 9 Jun.
